Yingnar precision-AC coils: assembly types, tooling and what to specify

Yingnar makes finned coils to order for precision air-conditioning equipment. Its category shows three photographed assemblies: two framed or cased coils with a circular face opening, and a smaller finned coil with return bends and mounting brackets. No model plates, dimensions or ratings are published for them.

That means each coil is quoted from your drawing and duty. Yingnar publishes tube and fin tooling in Ø5, Ø7 and Ø9.52 sizes and a process flow with expansion and pressure or water-bath leak checks as key steps. Send the coil's role in the unit, air and fluid conditions, face size and connections, and ask Yingnar for a drawing, a performance calculation and a first-article sample.

Selection and application

The three assemblies in the photos

The photos help to discuss shape and layout with Yingnar. Sizes, connection diameters and fixing points come from the drawing you agree, since none are shown.

A circular face opening may suggest a fan position, but the photos do not show what else is supplied. State whether you are buying a bare coil, a coil in its casing or a larger subassembly, and ask for a parts and supply schedule.

A duty Yingnar can select against

State what the coil does in your unit: evaporator, condenser, chilled-water or hot-water coil. For the air side give entering dry bulb and humidity, the leaving condition or duty, airflow and allowed pressure drop. For the fluid side give temperatures and flow, or the refrigerant and its operating conditions, with allowed pressure drop and design limits. The refrigerant guide covers how refrigerant choice affects design pressure.

Where moisture removal matters, give the sensible and latent duty and real entering-air conditions rather than a single total capacity. Ask Yingnar for its calculation or test data for the drawing and circuit offered.

Geometry, circuit and tooling

Yingnar lists tube and fin tooling including Ø7×21×12.7, Ø7×21×18.19, Ø9.52×25.4×22, Ø9.52×25×21.65 and Ø5×19.5×11.6. Its processing page also shows fin patterns and horizontal and vertical expansion. These are the routes the plant can build; the geometry for your coil is chosen with the duty.

On a controlled drawing, give face size, rows, tube diameter, wall and grade, fin material, pattern and spacing, circuiting and connection positions. Add the casing, mounting, drain and access details. Ask which tool Yingnar proposes and which features need new tooling or an agreed deviation. Other coil makers listed here, such as Xingchang coated condenser coils, quote on the same set of details.

Process flow and what to test

Yingnar's process card marks expansion and pressure or water-bath leak checks as key processes. It also shows nitrogen charging, automatic and manual joining, internal blowing, degreasing and drying, a leak-repair and re-check loop, barcode marking and packing.

Write the acceptance into the order: material traceability, internal cleanliness, joint quality, dimensional checks and the test medium, pressure, duration and pass limit. Ask for records tied to the sample and each lot, how repaired joints are retested, and how the barcode links to the drawing revision. The pressure and tightness test guide lists typical terms.

Materials and service conditions

Tube and fin colour in a photo says nothing about alloy, coating or design pressure. Yingnar publishes no refrigerant list or material certificate for this category. Describe the environment, condensate and cleaning exposure and the fluid or refrigerant, and ask for the material and coating schedule.

For a replacement coil, check circuit, connections, pressure and temperature limits and physical fit against the coil being replaced. Company records on the Yingnar company page cover the business; ask separately for the documents your market needs for the coil, as set out in the conformity documents guide.

Sample, then production

Yingnar publishes no MOQ, sample lead time, price or warranty for this category. Ask for sample and production prices on the same drawing, materials and inspection scope, and agree packing, sealed ends and any holding charge left in the coil.

  1. Fix the brief

Thermal conditions, geometry and circuit, materials, connections, mounting and supply scope.

  2. Check the first article

Dimensional and test records against the drawing revision, then performance and fit in your equipment.

  3. Release production

Lot marking, change control, rework and re-check, packing, written warranty and responsibility at handover.

Before the coil order: what Yingnar should confirm in writing

Ask Yingnar to confirm in writing: the drawing revision and circuit; the tooling used; tube and fin materials and coating; design pressure and the test pressure, medium and duration; calculated sensible and total duty at your conditions; cleanliness and dimensional checks; MOQ, sample and production lead times, price and warranty.
