Build a air handling sourcing brief

Shortlist by the equipment function and the evidence available, then ask for the selected assembly at your project conditions.

Separate air treatment from air movement

This category contains air handlers, fan coils, general ventilation fans and catalogue families that mention smoke duty. Decide which part of the air process you are sourcing. An air handler requires coil/filtration and condensate details; a fan needs a duty-point curve; a fan coil needs entering-water and room-air selection conditions.

Use the published differences to shortlist

Hanwei describes selectable air-treatment sections; Chengyang lists fan-coil arrangements; several suppliers list HTF/HTFC fan variants; Northing describes a blower family. Chunfeng’s YDF entry has unresolved airflow units. These distinctions help frame enquiries, but they do not establish a matched performance comparison.

Keep installation and evidence together

Record airflow, defined pressure and site air conditions, then request model, size, speed and an applicable curve. Ask for access and acoustic declaration basis. Any smoke-duty claim needs evidence for the quoted assembly, not just a series label. Use the fan guide for the air-movement part of the enquiry.
