Select the blower and heater against one verified process duty
HBO's high-pressure-labelled electric hot-air package is visibly different from its ordinary portable heater: the original photograph and multiple-angle poster show a finned circular blower housing, its separate motor and an intake filter connected to the heater package. The illustrated parameter poster states heating power 3–50 kW, maximum air volume 3.5–16 m³/min and wind pressure 150–370 Pa. The printed pressure range is retained exactly. The high-pressure name is not a reason to silently change Pa to another unit or add zeros.
This brief addresses selection of the actual blower/heater assembly when a process line needs heated air against resistance. The supplier has not provided a reviewed selected-model pressure/flow curve, blower technology declaration or test reference in these images. A finned circular appearance is therefore described as observed construction, rather than treated as proof of a specific regenerative-blower design. Model rating, temperature limit and installed fan/heater control must be confirmed on the issued quotation and drawing.
Published parameters and their scope
This is an equipment family; its range does not identify one orderable configuration.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Published heater-power range | 3–50 kW | Original parameter poster; does not establish complete package input. Source |
| Published maximum-air-volume range | 3.5–16 m³/min | Series envelope without an inspected selected-model fan curve. Source |
| Pressure exactly as printed | 150–370 Pa | The high-pressure title does not authorise correcting the unit or scale. Source |
| Observed assembly | Finned circular blower, separate motor, intake filter and heater/control package | Original main and multiple-angle photographs inspected; precise blower technology not verified. Source |
| Temperature disclosure gap | No outlet-temperature range on the reviewed parameter poster | Other HBO families’ 350°C limits are not automatically assigned here. Source |
| Selection evidence still needed | Corrected/current issued rating, curve, pressure convention and blower operating limits | No inferred working point, dead-head capability or guaranteed process output. Source |
Selection and application review
Resolve the name and numerical pressure before selection
The heading calls the package a high-pressure model, but the same poster prints 150–370 Pa. Retain that discrepancy in the enquiry and request a signed current data sheet for the exact assembly. Do not silently substitute kPa, mbar or an assumed larger number. If the supplier issues a correction, record its revision and applicability before changing the public brief.
State the flow, air-reference conditions and required pressure boundary. Ask whether the issued rating is static, total or differential pressure and obtain the curve at the ordered speed/configuration. Neither the title nor a photograph establishes that the package overcomes a project's duct, nozzle, filter or process resistance.
Review the blower route and its permissible duty
The multiple-angle image shows the finned blower, separate motor, vertical intake-filter element and a connection into the heater casing. It is enough to identify a distinct mechanical layout, but not to assert the internal operating principle or a universal continuous-duty envelope. Ask for the selected blower manufacturer/model and operating manual.
Specify the permissible inlet temperature and air composition, motor rating and controls. Get minimum/maximum flow and pressure limits, any required bypass or pressure protection and the supplier's issued arrangements. This brief gives no instruction to block an outlet or run at zero flow; the relevant protection and permissible operation must come from the selected equipment's documents.
Keep the heater balance and temperature limits separate
The 3–50 kW column is a range of electric heater ratings. Provide the required process temperature rise at delivered flow so the supplier can select thermal output together with the blower duty. The reviewed parameter poster has no explicit outlet-temperature limit; a different HBO page's room-temperature-to-350°C claim is not transferred onto this assembly.
Ask for complete electrical load, supply/phase, fan input and temperature/control sensor locations. Agree the heater switching and independent high-limit protection. Verify what occurs on airflow loss, filter loading, blower trip and power restoration using a selected-model circuit and sequence, rather than treating generic protection icons as an implemented control system.
Compare quotations using the same boundary
Confirm the heater, blower, filter, connecting parts and control enclosure included in the price, plus dimensions, service access and mounting arrangement. Casters and handles in the family photo are construction observations, not a load-rated lifting plan or ingress-protection approval. Identify replacements for the selected fan and filter.
Acceptance should record flow, the defined pressure, stabilized air temperature and complete input under the agreed system resistance. Request noise and vibration evidence at that same configuration when relevant. Price, current delivery, life-cycle energy savings and independent performance tests are unknown. Cosmetic or power variants are kept on this single assembly-family page.
Close the rating discrepancy
Obtain a revision-controlled pressure range and selected blower curve; do not guess a unit correction.
Match the thermal and air duty
Issue delivered flow, pressure convention and temperature rise together with the actual medium.
Verify the delivered assembly
Agree protection, controls and measured acceptance at the selected installed boundary.
