Specify the airflow and drive as one selected assembly
Gerui's 4-72 centrifugal offer is presented on A- and C-arrangement pages. The reviewed C-family photograph shows a volute casing on a base with an external shaft/transmission enclosure, while the A picture is a compact motor-mounted assembly. They are consolidated into one 4-72 family because transmission and size alternatives should be selected together, rather than creating near-duplicate capacity or speed pages.
The official body permits ordinary air or other stated noncorrosive, nonflammable, nonsticky streams, with gas temperature no higher than 80°C and dust/hard-particle concentration no more than 150 mg/m³. Its schedules provide speed, paired flow/total-pressure ranges and motor columns. Some cells contain malformed motor text or multiple alternatives. A separate page headed 4-42 actually displays 4-72 tables; that mismatch is excluded as independent 4-42 evidence. This brief retains usable rows while requiring a current selected curve, drive arrangement and drawing.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Official medium boundary | No corrosive, flammable, volatile or sticky gas; stated ordinary-air duty | Supplier description, not an independently verified special-gas construction. Source |
| Published gas limits | ≤80°C; dust/hard particles ≤150 mg/m³ | Exact 4-72 description; not a dust-collector or abrasive-material guarantee. Source |
| C-family No.6C example | 1600 r/min; Y132S-4 5.5 kW; 7367–14734 m³/h; total pressure 1389–881 Pa | Exact original row; selected point and air-reference/test basis still needed. Source |
| A-family No.6A example | 1450 r/min; Y112M-4 4 kW; 6677–13353; total pressure 1139–724 Pa | Original A table has malformed flow-unit typography; supplier must confirm units and selected point. Source |
| Arrangement evidence | C photograph: external transmission area; A photograph: compact motor-mounted assembly | Family images read; precise drive, rotation and outlet position require issued drawings. Source |
| Catalogue defects retained | Blank A size cell, malformed C motor strings; 4-42 page contains 4-72 tables | No guessed correction or separate 4-42 product claim. Source |
Selection and application review
Select one point within the flow/pressure range
The No.6C 1600 r/min row lists 7367–14734 m³/h and 1389–881 Pa total pressure with a 5.5 kW Y132S-4. Those ranges do not mean the fan supplies maximum flow at maximum pressure simultaneously. Ask for the complete curve and a marked operating point against the actual system resistance.
Specify air conditions and whether the designer's requirement is static or total pressure. The source total-pressure table does not directly prove external static available at the installed duct terminals. Obtain a current selection and complete electrical-input basis; the motor kW column alone is not measured running consumption.
Compare A and C at equal duty and installed scope
The No.6A source row at 1450 r/min has a 4 kW Y112M-4 and different flow/pressure values from the C example. This is not an equal-duty efficiency comparison. Ask the supplier to select both proposed arrangements at the same defined flow, pressure and entering-air conditions.
Obtain the ordered transmission, motor speed, fan speed, drive guarding and service requirements. The family photographs show different external arrangements but do not establish a particular pulley ratio or maintenance interval. Include base/supports, vibration isolation, access and any starter or speed controller in the quotation comparison.
Keep contamination and temperature within the disclosed scope
The official description limits temperature to 80°C and dust/hard particles to 150 mg/m³, and excludes sticky and several hazardous/corrosive gas characteristics. Issue the actual contaminants and operating extremes. If the gas falls outside that scope, require a different documented selection rather than treating the general 4-72 family as a universal process-exhaust fan.
The dust limit is not an independently tested impeller-wear life or proof that a material-conveying system is suitable. Ask for the selected material, finish, inspection and cleaning provisions appropriate to the actual service. No special coating or certification is inferred from blue/red paint in the image.
Resolve source errors before approving dimensions or motors
The A table has a genuinely blank size entry among its rows. The C table includes malformed motor strings and cells listing two motor alternatives without a complete point mapping. The separately titled 4-42 page includes tables headed 4-72 B/C/D. Those errors are not silently fixed or used to extend this family into a new product claim.
Require a dated selected row, exact motor, rotation/outlet position, flange and foundation drawing, and the accepted test schedule. Agree balancing, mechanical run and duty verification for the ordered unit. Current price, delivery and witnessed efficiency remain unknown; the same family covers the actual transmission choices without multiplying nominal sizes into URLs.
Set a comparable duty
Provide paired flow/pressure, air conditions and source medium limits.
Approve the drive and layout
Name fan/motor speeds, transmission, guards, outlet/rotation and service space.
Close catalogue conflicts
Obtain corrected selection/drawings and ordered-unit acceptance records.
