CR and CRCF are Dunham-Bush fan-coil offers and are kept together here for terminal selection. CR publishes 360–3300 m³/h airflow and describes balanced multi-blade centrifugal fans, hydrophilic aluminium fins and an insulated one-piece condensate pan. Its optional list includes thermostats, filters, motorised two-way valves, flexible connections, extended pans and UV lamps. None is transferred to a standard package without an ordered list.
CRCF describes a brushless DC motor and forward-curved double-inlet fan, with supplier claims of average energy savings around 40% and noise as low as 20.7 dB. The CRCF page also prints 1500–15000 m³/h, a much larger range than CR; no model schedule or measurement basis reconciles these figures. This brief preserves that discrepancy and does not substitute guessed values. CRAA/AHRI statements are not independently verified exact-model listings. Selection needs coil duty, external resistance, acoustic conditions and the actual terminal control/valve arrangement.
This is an equipment family; its range does not identify one orderable configuration.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| CR airflow statement | 360–3300 m³/h | Family range; exact selected speed/pressure needed. Source |
| CRCF printed range | 1500–15000 m³/h | Not reconciled with CR; request exact model schedule. Source |
| CRCF motor/fan | Brushless DC; forward-curved double-inlet centrifugal fan | Source arrangement, not independently measured performance. Source |
| CRCF comparison claims | Around 40% average savings; down to 20.7 dB | No inspected baseline, speed or acoustic measurement conditions. Source |
| CR accessories | Thermostat, filters, two-way valve, flexible joint, extended pan, UV lamp | Optional; UV option does not prove sanitised room air. Source |
| Certificate wording | CRAA and AHRI claimed | Current exact-model issuer records not reviewed. Source |
Issue room sensible/latent load, entering air states, chilled/hot-water temperatures, airflow, external pressure and permitted sound levels. Request actual model/speed capacities, input and water pressure drop. The CRCF printed airflow range needs manufacturer clarification; no correction is invented from the product name or photograph.
Select the installation type and obtain dimensions, support details and removable service-panel requirements. Fan-coil appearance does not settle the selected pipe connection, casing or terminal air distribution.
Ask for the actual motor/drive configuration, speed-control method and input at equivalent airflow and pressure. CRCF's approximately 40% savings lacks an inspected comparison baseline and annual weighting; it is not a verified room-system energy reduction.
Obtain acoustic data at the selected speed and measurement basis. The 20.7 dB minimum must not be used as a guaranteed room noise level with ducts, valves and installation effects. Agree acceptance at the actual operating point, not an unspecified quietest setting.
Freeze control valve, actuator, thermostat/sensor, power and signal wiring in the order. The CR accessory list is optional; neither a valve nor a thermostat is assumed included. Define how flow is controlled and what the terminal does on demand satisfaction, fault or power restoration.
Obtain pan length, insulation, condensate connection and drainage requirements for the selected arrangement. A one-piece insulated pan does not guarantee an installed unit never drips. Check traps, slopes, access and insulation during commissioning.
Choose the actual filter and replacement access and obtain coil/fan cleaning procedures. If the UV option is required, ask for its device specification, safe installation/service instructions and applicable evidence; the option name does not establish room-air disinfection performance.
Verify current exact-model CRAA/AHRI scope where contractual. Accept measured airflow, coil duty, noise/input at agreed conditions, valve control and drainage. Price, delivery and independently verified installed savings remain unknown.
Compare selected coil states, airflow/pressure and water pressure drop.
Require matched input and sound-test conditions, not unbounded minima.
Freeze valves, thermostat, filter, pan and any UV option.
