Select an industrial compressor package at its actual pressure duty
LSCP is an industrial refrigeration compressor-package family using an open screw compressor. The source describes a three-stage oil separator, filtration of both lubrication and injected oil, pumped oil supply, optional economizer operation for higher pressure differences and a factory-installed PLC/control cabinet. The assembly is a compressor package, so its headline −110 to 25°C application range does not establish a complete refrigeration plant or a single-stage temperature capability.
The manufacturer names several refrigerants, including R717, but also prints an ambiguous RA34a identifier. That identifier is not silently corrected or used as a selected refrigerant. The stated discharge oil carryover below 5 ppm and resilience during emergency power loss are supplier claims without an inspected test basis or issued sequence. Selection requires compressor suction/discharge conditions, refrigerant, oil compatibility, motor/drive and the external heat exchangers, vessels and controls. No cooling capacity schedule is supplied by the reviewed page.

Selection and application review
Specify compressor duty independently of plant temperature
Issue refrigerant, suction/discharge pressures and temperatures, mass flow, required cooling duty and operating profile. Ask for the selected compressor map, power and stage arrangement. The broad headline temperature range cannot prove that one package provides the entire duty down to −110°C.
Define external evaporators, condensers, vessels, piping and any additional stages. Freeze which components belong to this package and which remain the plant integrator's responsibility. Obtain the exact refrigerant identifier instead of adopting the webpage typo.
Approve oil separation and return as a full circuit
Request oil type, circulation/filtration requirements, separator and return diagram, service points and permitted contaminants. Ask for the operating conditions and method behind the below-5-ppm carryover claim. A separator description does not guarantee that value across arbitrary loads or refrigerants.
Determine oil cooling, differential-pressure protection and replacement/filter access. If an economizer is selected, obtain the actual port/circuit and effect on the chosen operating map rather than assuming a universal capacity improvement.
Document open-drive and power-loss behaviour
Obtain selected motor/drive, coupling, alignment, guarding, seal maintenance and foundation requirements. An open compressor package requires its actual mechanical interface drawings. No footprint or vibration limit is inferred from the rendering.
Request the hydraulic counterbalance and oil-supply sequence during startup, shutdown and loss of power. The source's unaffected-by-emergency wording is not a verified guarantee. Agree the plant response and permissible restart conditions for the actual application.
Accept the package within the industrial system
Freeze PLC I/O, alarm/trip logic, history storage, external interlocks and control authority. Obtain ordered pressure/materials documents and applicable selected-equipment conformity records. Application in chemical or pharmaceutical plants does not establish hazardous-area or process approval.
Witness selected compressor duty/input, oil/protective behaviour, controls and the agreed interface tests. Current capacity selection, price, lead time and independently verified installed reliability remain unknown.
Select compressor conditions
Fix refrigerant, pressure duty, stages, power and external plant scope.
Approve oil/mechanics
Verify separation/return, drive, seals and power-loss sequence.
Witness package interfaces
Test protective states, PLC interlocks and selected performance.
