What this manufacturer offers
Dunham-Bush’s Chinese company overview distinguishes the international brand’s 1894 origin in Hartford from its research and manufacturing base established in China in 1995. The two dates refer to different parts of the business. The Chinese website names 顿汉布什(中国)工业有限公司 and publishes compressors, large chillers, heat pumps, air-side equipment, industrial refrigeration and controls.
For a plant buyer, the DCLCDX two-stage centrifugal family is a specific route within that portfolio. Its manufacturer page describes cooling and heating ranges, refrigerant alternatives and control options. Those published choices need to be converted into one model-specific equipment schedule before an order can be evaluated.
A historical Yantai government inspection record independently names the Chinese entity and address. That is useful identity evidence, not an assessment of chiller performance. This profile brings the corporate, product and service evidence together while keeping the scope of each record visible.

03 / PROJECT REVIEW
Separate the international brand from the Chinese equipment contract
Review the proposed plant architecture, not the breadth of the catalogue
The DCLCDX publication covers cooling and heat-pump configurations and describes variable-frequency, water/ground-source, heat recovery, ice-storage, wastewater and seawater-related forms. A list of possible forms is not one machine’s complete specification. The offer must identify which version is selected and what supporting water-side equipment it assumes.
Conventional chilled-water plant
Request the selected cooling configuration at the actual chilled-water and condenser-water conditions. The family’s largest capacity does not identify the unit required for the project.
Specify source and heating-water duties and simultaneous operating requirements. The stated 120°C capability is linked to a cascade or two-machine arrangement, not a blanket standalone-machine rating.
CCS TOUCH is the named unit controller. DB-VISION and the listed building communications need to be identified as included, optional or external to the offer.
The manufacturing evidence does not yet establish your production slot
The official China overview describes a broad manufacturing product line and technical/service coverage across 46 Chinese cities and regions. It does not publish a current DCLCDX line output, order backlog or delivery slot. The manufacturing base’s origin date cannot answer those questions.
Request the actual manufacturing facility, assembly/test plan, shipment location and approved document revisions for the order. If a factory performance test is offered, agree the selected duty, measurement basis, test conditions and witnessed records. No factory throughput, current machine inventory or shipment date has been inferred from the company overview.
A company feature published by Yantai’s trade-promotion committee on 10 May 2024 reports 18 full-performance test benches, imported production equipment and testing of all outgoing products. It also describes parts warehouses in Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and Yantai. These are historical promotional statements, not bench accreditation schedules, witnessed test reports or current stock confirmation. Ask which bench, method and report will cover the selected unit, and which service warehouse will support the actual order.
Use certification claims only after matching the selected configuration
The DCLCDX page states domestic energy-saving and AHRI certification and describes potential LEED use. No exact certification identifier or selected-unit directory record was established during this research. Treat these as manufacturer claims awaiting a configuration match.
AHRI’s own water-chilling certification programme explains the scope of certified performance and specification-sheet verification. Request the applicable listing and selection output for the proposed model and duty, rather than using a general logo as evidence.
USGBC states that LEED does not certify products. A proposal to use this equipment in a LEED project is not a LEED product certificate or an automatic award of building credits. The related product review separates these checks from supplier history.
Service scope is broad; the project agreement must be specific
The official China customer-service page describes startup, warranty-period maintenance, long-term servicing and overhaul, original spare parts, installation/modification support, operator training and system consultation. Those are the published service categories, not a response-time or parts-stock guarantee at every site.
The same page discusses support for older imported units. That makes unit origin and serial identity useful service inputs, but it does not prove that a particular legacy component remains available. For a new DCLCDX order, agree the local provider, startup conditions, maintenance responsibility and parts arrangement.
Identify the supplied unit and attending service party
Record the complete model, manufacturing entity, destination and organisation responsible for commissioning and fault attendance.
Agree controls and plant interfaces
List unit controls, building-network protocol, DB-VISION or other supervisory scope, required pumps/towers and responsibilities for system integration.
Set written support and acceptance terms
Request warranty conditions, planned maintenance, spare-parts provision, training and the agreed plant and unit acceptance records. No response time or warranty duration is inferred here.
External records and their limits
a registration-information check, not a product test
The Yantai-hosted document titled the first 2022 joint random-inspection results lists the Chinese company in row 6 on page 1. It records credit code 91370600613422935A, the Dunham-Bush Road address and a normal result for registration matters and enterprise public information. The stated inspection window is 27 April–31 July.
This is a historical record of that administrative scope. It does not certify equipment capacity, energy performance, factory quality systems or current environmental compliance. Match the entity on the current commercial documents separately and obtain the specific technical evidence for the ordered machine.
