What this manufacturer offers

Shanxi Jiangong Shenhua HVAC Equipment Co., Ltd. publishes household self-operated flow-control valves for hydronic systems. Its reviewed product page describes a precision-cast 304 stainless-steel body and bonnet, a ceramic regulating plate and a locked setting arrangement. The published uses include household heating connections and fan-coil water circuits. This is a practical starting point for reviewing a balancing-valve enquiry, rather than a complete model selection.

The company’s current about page requires caution. Its main description contains unrelated placeholder copy about an unnamed mould, plastics and PCBA business. That copy is excluded from this biography: neither the 2010 founding date nor the production activities described in the placeholder are attributed to Jiangong Shenhua. A later part of the same page identifies hydronic balancing valves as the company’s focus, but its research and recognition claims still need their own supporting records.

An independently accessible national standards record provides a firmer, limited connection: it names 山西建工申华暖通设备有限公司 among the drafting organisations for the self-operating flow-control-valve project that led to GB/T 29735-2013. The technical product data, the dated drafting record and the unreliable biography text are kept separate below.

Jiangong Shenhua: valve evidence without an invented company history

Read the pressure range separately from flow and accuracy

The household-valve page gives a constant-flow differential-pressure range of 0.02–0.3 MPa, an indicated flow-scale accuracy of ±5% and constant-flow accuracy of ±6%. These are manufacturer-published figures without a reproduced test method or an exact valve-size characteristic curve. The pressure range is not a nominal flow rating. (Source 2.)

Published operating statement

A differential-pressure range and two accuracy statements for the household valve publication. The page does not establish the selected connection size, nominal flow or performance at the buyer’s exact operating point.

Read the source

Evidence for the selected valve

Request the complete designation, selected flow setting and flow-versus-pressure curve for the size being quoted. Compare available system pressure with that selection rather than choosing from pipe size alone.

Construction statements do not settle all water-side requirements

The product page identifies precision-cast 304 stainless steel for the body and bonnet, with other parts described as stainless steel or brass. It describes a planar ceramic seal and a regulating-plug arrangement intended to resist sticking. That is evidence of the supplier’s construction description, not a confirmed schedule for every component. (Source 2.)

The publication’s statements about operation in poor water conditions do not provide a defined water-quality limit, filtration requirement or verified leakage result. Ask which materials contact the medium and which temperature and treatment conditions apply to the selected valve. Although the page also names water-supply applications, this profile does not infer potable-water approval from that application statement.

A household setting needs a commissioning record, not just a scale

The reviewed page describes a 170° setting scale, a temperature connection suitable for return-water measurement and a restricted setting lock. The commissioning discussion should use those actual features rather than a generic request for an unspecified smart controller. (Source 2.)

  1. Choose and document the flow setting

Match the selected valve and its characteristic curve to the intended household or fan-coil flow. Record the size, designation and chosen setting before installation.

  2. Confirm installation and measurement

Obtain the installation orientation and any upstream or downstream requirements. If using the temperature connection on a return circuit, identify the measurement arrangement and its purpose.

  3. Record adjustment and lock responsibility

Identify who reads and adjusts the setting, who controls the restricted lock, and what is recorded at handover. The published scale description is not a commissioning result for the buyer’s circuit.

The stated life test needs its own report

The manufacturer says that the product underwent a 100,000-cycle on/off life test at a national air-conditioning institute. The readable page does not reproduce a report number, test date, specimen designation or full conditions. We have not labelled the valve platform-certified or independently life-tested on the strength of that sentence. (Source 2.)

For an order relying on that test, obtain the original report and match its tested product to the proposed valve size and construction. Keep a life-test statement separate from the published flow-accuracy figures and from any water-quality suitability claim. There is no basis here to infer the service life of an installation or a warranty duration from the cycle count alone.

What the national standards record actually establishes

The national standards platform identifies project 20076354-T-333, issued on 4 December 2007, for self-operating flow-control valves used in heating and air conditioning. It lists Jiangong Shenhua as a drafting organisation and links the published outcome GB/T 29735-2013. The original record was read after the manufacturer pages for this manuscript. (Source 3.)

Supported: dated standards participation

The exact Chinese company name appears in the drafting-organisations list for the identified project. This is attributable evidence of participation in that standard’s development.

Not established: order-specific compliance

The drafting record does not certify every household valve, provide a current test report or identify the quoted model’s conformity. Obtain the applicable product evidence separately.
