Approve CDR's duct operating point and electrical configuration
CDR is Jiayi's round-duct centrifugal fan family with coaxial inlet/outlet connections, an external-rotor single-phase asynchronous motor and a mounting bracket. The original catalogue image provides seven models from CDR2E-100 through CDR2E-315. Its table lists maximum air volume and highest available static pressure; those labels should not be repackaged as a paired operating point.
CDR2E-200 is listed at 220 V/50 Hz, 180 W, 0.8 A and 2,550 r/min, with 800 m³/h maximum volume and 550 Pa highest available static pressure. The webpage describes broader 220/240 V and 50/60 Hz support, whereas the original CDR rows are specifically 220 V/50 Hz. Confirm the exact supply version and curve before using either statement for an export order.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Construction | Coaxial round inlet/outlet; external-rotor single-phase asynchronous motor | Original illustrated CDR description; not proof of EC drive or arbitrary speed-controller compatibility. Source |
| CDR2E-200 electrical row | 220 V / 50 Hz; 180 W; 0.8 A; 2,550 r/min; 5 µF capacitor | Original printed page 8; full wiring/protection details still required. Source |
| CDR2E-200 flow / static limits | Maximum volume 800 m³/h; highest available static pressure 550 Pa | Separate table maxima; no curve supplied to show 800 m³/h at 550 Pa. Source |
| Original sound entry | 53 dB(A) for CDR2E-200 | No sound-test distance/arrangement stated on the spread; not occupied-room noise. Source |
| Connection drawing | CDR2E-200 drawing dimension E is 200; bracket and overall dimensions have separate letters | Refer to original drawing and approve unit/dimensional convention; do not use duct diameter as overall envelope. Source |
Selection and application review
Select the actual duct duty from a current fan curve
Send required air volume, static-pressure duty, density/temperature and the duct network's losses including filters, louvers, bends and terminals. Ask for a current curve with speed/input and the actual installed selection. The source's maximum flow and maximum static pressure are separate limits; a fan cannot be accepted as delivering both simultaneously without a supporting curve.
For replacement work, record the existing connections and air direction but do not simply match nominal diameter. Include the installed system resistance and required ventilation outcome. The source's general hotel/hospital/library applications do not establish a certified healthcare ventilation system, clean-air result or approved use with any hazardous medium.
Keep the 50 Hz table separate from broader supply claims
The original CDR table lists 220 V and 50 Hz for all inspected rows, while the web prose advertises 220/240 V and 50/60 Hz. Obtain the ordered motor nameplate, performance at actual frequency and wiring/capacitor requirements. A higher frequency can change operation, but no unreviewed alternative curve is calculated here.
This is an asynchronous external-rotor description, not evidence of electronically commutated drive. Require any permitted speed-control method and limits from the actual manufacturer documentation, including protection and restart behaviour. Do not attach a generic dimmer, inverter or control assumption to the catalogue label.
Approve coaxial connections, bracket support and service space
The original drawing shows equal-axis inlet/outlet and a support bracket, with separate letters for connection and overall dimensions. Obtain the current model drawing, connection tolerances, fastening and permitted orientations. Same-axis connections can simplify routing but do not remove the need for suitable support and a sound sealed joint.
Coordinate motor terminal access, capacitor replacement and fan removal with the duct installation. Have the designer consider vibration transfer, duct breakout sound and access panels. The printed 53 dB(A) for CDR2E-200 lacks a reviewed measurement basis and cannot alone predict the noise at an occupied room.
Approve the curve
Select volume and static duty together at the actual supply and speed.
Approve the drawing
Close duct connections, support, direction and removal space.
Approve electrical service
Obtain nameplate, capacitor, wiring, protection and permitted control instructions.
Clarify air quality, operating limits and maintenance
The page mentions commercial ventilation and some kitchen/exhaust examples without a full medium/temperature/protection schedule. Obtain the allowable air temperature, humidity, contaminant loading and motor/enclosure protection for the selected unit. General application wording does not authorise greasy extract, corrosive gas or explosive atmospheres.
Agree cleaning, inspection and any upstream filtration with the installation designer and current operating instructions. The supplier's balance/performance-test descriptions require the actual inspection basis and delivered record; the platform has not witnessed those tests or verified service life.
Make customisation and delivery depend on an issued offer
Jiayi says CDR supports OEM/ODM and customised electrical/airflow requirements. Request an approved altered model code, drawing and selection curve instead of assuming the original 220 V/50 Hz row remains valid after modification. Close branding, materials, sample acceptance, production inspections, packaging and spares.
The web page gives generic stock/custom lead-time statements, but no current inventory or production slot has been checked. Obtain a dated price/programme and legal seller's warranty terms, plus current conformity documents for the selected market. This platform has organised the actual source data and unresolved interface decisions; it has not tested the fan or certified an installed ventilation system.
