Initial-filter ventilation
Define the offered filter grade and initial/final resistance at the selected airflow.
Use the actual opened-box photographs to specify filtration, working pressure and access; a separate TY catalogue provides context, not an authenticated TY-B rating.

The original Tongtian item57 is titled TY-B Initial-filter Fan Box. Its four detail photographs show a framed cabinet, filter position, an opened fan arrangement, service panels and support rails. They supply useful structural context but no readable model plate, filter rating, airflow curve or dimensional schedule.
The same company’s Totim site separately describes a TY initial-filter series with600–24,000m³/h airflow and65–980Pa static-pressure ranges. A direct mapping between that catalogue and the photographed TY-B was not established. The separate range is therefore shown as comparison context, not a rating for a selected TY-B.
An initial-filter fan box is a ventilation assembly. The page does not establish a final-filter cleanroom system, certified contaminant-removal result or suitability for every hospital/laboratory space. Define the actual treatment stage and installed duty before requesting an offer.
This is an equipment family; its range does not identify one orderable configuration.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Original designation | TY-B initial-filter fan box | Official photo-led item57; no published individual airflow/pressure rating in that item. Source |
| Visible structure | Framed cabinet, filter position, fan and service panels/support rails | Four actual photographs; no material thickness, tested leakage class or included control identified from appearance. Source |
| Separate current TY context | 600–24,000m³/h · 65–980Pa · direct drive | Current Totim TY family envelope, not a single simultaneous point or authenticated TY-B mapping. Source |
| Selection still needed | Exact designation, fan curve, filter grade/resistance and dimensioned drawing | Required to connect the photographed box to a complete offered assembly. Source |
State the required airflow and external static pressure at the installed condition. Give the filter’s initial and agreed final resistance, with the connected duct/terminal losses and operating schedule. Ask for the selected fan curve, speed, power/current and the pressure basis—fan total/static, external available or assembly loss.
The separate TY catalogue’s airflow and pressure endpoints do not describe one duty, and the original TY-B page supplies no curve. Do not select a box by maximum airflow alone or assume that a clean-filter duty will remain adequate as resistance increases. Require the complete assembly’s selection at the agreed loading condition.
The TY-B title identifies initial filtration but gives no filter classification, particle efficiency, media, dimensions or pressure-loss data. Specify the actual filtration requirement and the relevant test/classification basis. Ask which filter is supplied and how its frame, gasket and retention prevent unplanned bypass.
The separate TY page lists hospital/laboratory/pharmaceutical applications but also says initial filtering is for larger particles and is unsuitable alone where higher air quality is required. These statements should not be collapsed into a universal cleanroom claim. If another filtration stage is needed, define its complete assembly and test scope separately.
Define the offered filter grade and initial/final resistance at the selected airflow.
Select the actual additional stage and its seals/access; do not assume a TY-B image includes a final filter.
Identify the contaminant, required treatment and applicable evidence; industry names alone do not select the system.
The actual photographs show different views of the cabinet and opened internals. A visible fan and filter do not establish the cabinet’s dimensions, airflow direction, material grade, insulation thickness, leakage class or mounting load. The opened-panel images help ask where filters, fan and electrical parts are removed.
Require a selected drawing with inlet/outlet positions, flange dimensions, filter-removal and fan-service clearances, mounting/support and isolator details. For suspended installation, agree the load and service route. Ensure the installed surrounding ductwork and ceiling do not block the very panels shown in the catalogue.
Totim’s separate TY page describes direct drive and suspended/floor installation. It mentions a standard25mm polyurethane panel with optional50/100mm or perforated acoustic panels, white cleanroom-style coated sheet and galvanised/stainless alternatives, and alternative fan/inlet/outlet layouts.
Those are catalogue choices, not a confirmed bill of materials for the TY-B image. Ask the supplier to identify the exact offered material/panel/fan combination and explain its relation to TY-B. If replacing an existing box, check actual dimensions, connection positions and duty; a shared TY prefix does not prove interchangeability.
Four structure photographs and a title, without a numerical selection schedule.
Read the sourceSeries ranges and options useful for enquiry, with exact TY-B correspondence unresolved.
Read the sourceThe supplier’s actual management certificates concern enterprise management. The inspected TEX explosion-proof document covers a different named centrifugal-fan configuration. Neither supplies a TY-B filter-efficiency, leakage or acoustic test. Require model/configuration-specific evidence for any special duty.
AMCA’s primary guidance distinguishes certified ratings from merely testing to a standard; membership is separate. No TY-B certified-rating entry was authenticated in this review. Ask for the exact certified designation/catalogue scope if claimed and keep that evidence separate from general AMCA wording.
The separate TY guide calls for cleaning/replacing filters and routine maintenance but gives no universal interval. Agree monitoring, filter replacement criteria, compatible replacement dimensions/grades, spare-part availability and fan/control service access. The original TY-B item establishes no fixed price, lead time, MOQ or warranty duration.
Close airflow, pressure basis, clean/loaded filter duty, motor/control supply and sound requirement.
Approve filter/material/panel configuration, cabinet drawings, mounting, seals and maintenance/removal space.
Require configuration-specific factory records and installed airflow/pressure checks, then hand over electrical, filter-change and written service/warranty information.
