Evaluate Tongtian through a complete filter-box selection
Define what the filter box must deliver at the loaded-filter duty
For a ventilation package, supply airflow and the required external static pressure together with the filtration stage and initial/final filter resistance. State the air temperature/composition and operating schedule, plus the intended noise limit and its measurement basis. Ask for the complete assembly selection with the actual filter and motor configuration.
The Totim site separates initial, medium, high, combined-stage and activated-carbon boxes. Those categories describe different treatment/supply scopes. An initial-filter box should not be represented as a complete cleanroom or pharmaceutical-process solution solely because the supplier lists those industries.
Airflow and pressure
Approve the fan’s working point after defining filter and system resistance, with power/current and control method.
Filter and seals
Identify the actual filter grade, dimensions, media, frame/seal and initial/final resistance; specify any required leakage/integrity checks.
Access and installation

The original TY-B item displays the box exterior and opened arrangements, including the visible fan, filter position, service panels and support rails. No readable duty or dimension schedule accompanies those photos.
The current TY page lists direct drive, suspended/floor installation and series ranges of600–24,000m³/h and65–980Pa. It describes a standard25mm polyurethane panel, optional50/100mm panels or perforated acoustic panels, and different material/inlet/outlet choices. These are useful current-series questions, but the exact TY-B-to-TY configuration correspondence remains unverified. Obtain one selected designation/drawing and parts schedule rather than attaching the largest range or every option to the photographed box.

The displayed explosion-proof certificate inspected is GYB23.1276 for a TEX(a)-b single-suction centrifugal-fan configuration, with a printed13February2023–12February2028 period and an attachment/safety-use limitation. It is not a TY-B filter-box certificate. Confirm the exact offered fan, marking, operating conditions and full attachment if an explosion-proof duty is required.

AMCA’s own Certified Ratings Program article explains that product certification concerns approved product ratings and is separate from testing to a standard; members and nonmembers can participate. Agree lead time and the exact response/attendance/remedy responsibilities in writing rather than using headline counters as contract terms.
Close the offer with replaceable filters and traceable tests
The current TY guide calls for filter cleaning/replacement and routine maintenance, without a fixed interval valid for every dust load. Specify how filter condition is monitored, replacement access and available matching filter/spare parts. Require the selected unit’s wiring/control instructions and documented factory/commissioning checks.
