Read the JCR rating at its stated water and wet-bulb conditions
Jinchuang's JCR is an open-circuit crossflow induced-draft cooling-tower line in the reviewed CTI disclosure. The CTI directory links the C149 manufacturer entry to validation document C149A-24R00, dated 9 January 2024. Its design schedule and 49-condition selection matrix provide more useful selection evidence than the official product page's generic low-noise statements. The original website photograph shows a square tower with side air entry, top fan housing and external ladder; it is not an independently witnessed installation rating.
As one disclosed example, JCR-183139A is listed at 22.8 l/s for the 37/32/28°C condition, with 1800 × 3100 × 3950 mm dimensions, a 3 kW motor and 1350 mm fan diameter. The same model has different flows at other defined conditions, so 22.8 l/s is not a universal tower capacity. The family remains on one page, and the different JCR-L/SB codes in a CQC publication are not silently equated with the CTI models.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Disclosed construction | Open-circuit, crossflow, induced draft | CTI disclosure identifies the line; not a closed-process-fluid coil. Source |
| Dated thermal evidence | C149A-24R00, 9 January 2024 | Current directory links document; exact selected-model status still requires issuer/order verification. Source |
| Example model duty | JCR-183139A: 22.8 l/s at 37/32/28°C | Matrix specifies inlet 37°C, outlet 32°C, wet bulb 28°C; not universal flow. Source |
| Example dimensions | 1800 × 3100 × 3950 mm (L × W × H) | Documented model outline; current issued installed drawing needed. Source |
| Example fan/motor | 1350 mm fan; 3 kW motor | Not complete system input or a witnessed sound rating. Source |
| Another condition for same model | 20.2 l/s at inlet 32°C, outlet 27°C, wet bulb 21°C | Condition-reference 46, range 5°C/approach 6°C in selection matrix. Source |
| Multi-cell scope | End-wall to end-wall cells; suffix indicates cell count | Disclosure permits arrangements that do not affect individual-cell flow/capacity; not arbitrary layouts. Source |
| Materials/options in disclosure | Galvanized/stainless structure; PVC/FRP casing; non-thermal accessories | Actual ordered construction must match applicable scope. Source |
Selection and application review
Issue water flow, range and approach together
Define entering and leaving water temperatures and the site's design wet bulb alongside required flow. Use the selected disclosure condition or request a supplier selection for your point. Range and approach are different temperature differences; do not select from model name or a single maximum-flow number.
The example JCR-183139A carries 22.8 l/s at 37/32/28°C, while the matrix lists 20.2 l/s at 32/27/21°C. These are published selection points, not an independent test performed by this platform. No interpolation to another climate or fluid is invented.
Match current model codes to the dated certification file
Request the exact ordered model code, current thermal-certification evidence and issued selection. The CTI disclosure lists model identifiers such as JCR-183139A and allows defined multi-cell extensions. Its 2024 date must remain visible when used as procurement evidence.
Do not substitute the separate CQC JCR-L/SB model list without an explicit mapping and current supporting evidence. A manufacturer-level directory entry does not certify every variant, accessory or unlisted layout.
Select cells and site airflow without defeating the rating
Obtain the actual cell count, end-wall arrangement, structural dimensions and installed air paths. The disclosed multi-cell permission concerns configurations that preserve individual-cell airflow/capacity; it does not prove performance in every enclosure or obstructed site.
Request service space, access/ladder/support details and recirculation assessment for the actual location. Agree fan/motor options and electrical inputs separately. A 3 kW motor in one example row is not total pump/fan-system energy for the site.
Approve materials, hydraulics and water management
Choose the permitted structure/casing construction with the supplier and obtain current material and load data. Request basin, fill, eliminator and distribution details, connection sizes, water losses and installation head for the ordered selection. The disclosed material options do not automatically describe every visible website photograph.
Define makeup, drainage, treatment and inspection responsibilities for the open water circuit. Use selected operating and maintenance instructions; no universal corrosion life, drift rate or hygienic classification is inferred from low-maintenance marketing.
Witness duty and sound using different acceptance files
Agree the thermal test method and water/wet-bulb conditions, measurement points and uncertainty. Separately obtain sound data with model, fan operating point and measurement basis. The supplier's low-noise statements do not give an absolute noise value at the property boundary.
Current price, lead time and independently witnessed site performance remain unknown. The disclosed sample models and conditions are selection evidence on this one family page, not separate pages created for every motor or dimensional variant.
Select a condition
Issue flow, inlet/outlet water and wet bulb, then obtain a model-specific rating.
Match model and layout
Check current certification scope, materials and permitted multi-cell/airflow arrangement.
Accept actual performance
Agree thermal measurements and a separate model-specific sound assessment.
