Select the variable-speed compressor together with its controller
ZEL’s variable-speed R600a offer needs a matched compressor-and-controller selection. The manufacturer-linked catalogue separates Z, M and T VSC schedules and labels PMSM motors, operating speeds and per-speed cooling/input/COP values. Physical page 14 lists Z constructions at 1,300–4,200 rpm; page 16 lists T examples at 1,400–4,000 rpm. These schedules describe specific model/speed points, not an instruction to apply arbitrary mains frequency directly to a compressor.
The webpage table is less complete: HKD86FSL, HKD10FSK and HKD12FSL rows contain zero frequency, power and COP fields. Its large photo identifies HDZ200FSM; another original photo identifies HKD12FSL and says the displayed 200–240 V 50/60 Hz is supply only with a control unit. The catalogue uses other suffixes such as HKD12FSK I. Keep these versions separate. This individually reviewed family brief provides bounded catalogue examples while identifying the drive, suffix, control and current-revision evidence needed for an actual appliance.

Selection and application review
Distinguish supply frequency from compressor operating speed
The original HKD12FSL photograph explicitly marks the supply as usable only with a control unit. The catalogue has a 220–240 V 50/60 Hz supply heading and separate frequency/rpm rows. These are different interfaces: the supply heading cannot be substituted for a selected compressor’s operating speed or used as a direct-connection instruction.
Request the exact matched controller model, supply range, wiring, command interface and permitted compressor speed range. The reviewed material does not provide a complete controller schematic or a universal drive that suits every Z/M/T model. Agree the actual appliance control boundary with the manufacturer.
Read the Z example across speeds, not by its highest number
For HXZ200FSM, catalogue page 14 reports 62 W cooling and 35 W input at 1,300 rpm, 125 W and 66 W at 2,400 rpm, and 203 W and 115 W at 4,200 rpm. The respective COP entries are 1.78, 1.90 and 1.77 W/W. These conditional points show that the largest cooling number is not the highest catalogue COP.
All use the same static-cooling ASHRAE LBP basis: −23.3°C evaporation, 54.4°C condensation, and 32.2°C suction, ambient and source-labelled subcooling temperature. They are supplier catalogue values, not a measured appliance load profile. Require the current model’s application envelope and performance schedule at the actual required conditions.
Retain the group and suffix when choosing a package
The catalogue separates Z and M constructions from T examples. The T page’s HKD12FSK I gives 166 W cooling, 85 W input and COP 1.95 W/W at 2,400 rpm under the stated LBP test conditions, with Cu, 11.5 cm³, PMSM, 163 mm height and 8.0 kg in its row. That is a bounded example for that suffix.
The webpage’s HKD12FSL entry and photographed unit are not HKD12FSK I. Its other picture says HDZ200FSM, also a separate identifier. Do not combine a photograph’s supply, a table’s displacement and another suffix’s best COP into one invented specification. Obtain one issued file that identifies the actual compressor and controller together.
Define controls and physical integration for the appliance
Ask how the appliance commands speed, which signals and protection responses are implemented and what occurs on lost command, controller fault or supply restart. No communication protocol, universal minimum stable speed or sound guarantee was verified. Select the load response using the actual supplier application requirements.
The catalogue provides separate outline groups and the photographs show different terminal-side housings. Request the current order’s outline, mounting, tube and controller-access drawings. Generic electrical-component assembly pages are useful context but do not establish that any particular drive, cable or accessory is included in the quoted package.
Resolve the webpage before treating it as order data
The website’s three model rows show zero values in frequency, input power and COP, while its motor wording differs from the catalogue’s PMSM label. They are unresolved source fields. The catalogue adds usable conditions and units, but does not silently repair those specific web rows or prove that a pending-release entry is currently orderable.
An enquiry should name the appliance, refrigerant, duty and supply, then request the current compressor/controller pair, complete speed schedule, drawings and validation scope. Confirm supply contents, traceability, commercial terms and acceptance evidence. Current stock, price and independently measured energy savings are unknown.
Choose one compressor/controller pair
Freeze actual model/suffix, supply and matched drive/control interfaces.
Select the operating schedule
Compare speed-specific values at stated thermal conditions and the appliance duty.
Agree integration and acceptance
Resolve web-data conflicts, approve drawings and record the delivered validation scope.
