ZEL’s reviewed Zeta R600a page lists nine rows across HDZ100A*/125A*/140A*, HPZ100A*/125A*/140A* and HXZ100A*/125A*/140A*. The winding entry is Al throughout, while HDZ uses RSIR/RSCR, HPZ uses CSCR and HXZ uses RSCR motor/start designations. The company overview positions Zeta around aluminium-winding value. That is a supplier platform description, not a proven life-cycle-cost or reliability comparison.
Every frequency cell in this particular table is zero. The thermal test basis and several column units are not supplied. The original image is a readable HXZ170A R600a compressor marked 220–240 V 50 Hz, a model outside those nine rows. This page therefore provides a platform and starting-arrangement review with explicit evidence limits; it does not transfer the photographed frequency or performance to the zero-frequency table entries. Obtain corrected, suffix-specific application data before choosing a Zeta model for a refrigerator or freezer.
The manufacturer-linked catalogue’s physical page 11 does include HXZ170A and gives an ASHRAE LBP rating basis. It also lists copper HPZ versions and RSCR designations, in contrast to the webpage’s all-Al and HPZ CSCR entries. The platform presents these as version differences requiring a current ordered datasheet; it does not choose a winding/start configuration on the buyer’s behalf.
This is an equipment family; its range does not identify one orderable configuration.
Swipe the table, or focus it and use arrow keys, to read the conditions and sources.

|---|---|---|
| Reviewed identifiers | HDZ100A*/125A*/140A*; HPZ100A*/125A*/140A*; HXZ100A*/125A*/140A* | Nine table entries kept in one platform page; asterisk meaning not established. Source |
| Winding designation | Al for all nine reviewed rows | Source winding label; no material-based durability or quality ranking inferred. Source |
| Motor/start code distinctions | HDZ RSIR/RSCR / HPZ CSCR / HXZ RSCR | Actual table codes; exact component and application approval required. Source |
| Table frequency problem | All nine frequency cells display 0 | Unresolved catalogue data, not zero-frequency operation. Source |
| Photographed model | HXZ170A; R600a; 220–240 V; 50 Hz | Original readable nameplate; not one of the nine reviewed table rows. Source |
| Supplier family limits | 43°C ambient; −35 to −10°C evaporation; 2.0 MPa gauge discharge | Ordered model applicability and permitted combinations require current datasheet confirmation. Source |
| Catalogue HXZ170A example | R600a, 220–240 V 50 Hz; 170 W cooling / 93 W input / COP 1.83 W/W | Physical page 11 at ASHRAE LBP −23.3°C evaporation / 54.4°C condensation; not an appliance guarantee. Source |
| Catalogue HXZ170A construction | Al; 9.2 cm³; RSCR; 4 µF; 163 mm / 7.3 kg | Source-specific row; catalogue includes the photographed identifier missing from the webpage table. Source |
| Material/start revision conflict | Catalogue HPZ: Cu / RSCR; webpage HPZ: Al / CSCR | Do not mix versions or label the entire Zeta family aluminium winding. Source |
The actual source distinction is between HDZ, HPZ and HXZ motor/start groups. All three appear with nominal 100/125/140 identifiers, but their electrical codes differ. Ask ZEL to propose the exact start arrangement for the appliance and provide the model’s complete electrical application file.
Do not select by the number embedded in the model name or assume it is a guaranteed cooling rating. The source has performance columns, but lacks a complete rating basis and unit schedule. This page groups the related entries instead of creating nominal-output or voltage variants as separate search pages.
The page lists 220–240, 115 and 100 V alternatives at family level while every model row’s frequency field is zero. Those statements do not identify a valid supply for any particular suffix. Ask the supplier to correct the table and name the permitted voltage/frequency and start components for the exact ordered variant.
The HXZ170A photograph does show 220–240 V and 50 Hz, but it is a different model from the nine rows. Its readable label cannot be used to fill their missing frequency data. Retain the discrepancy in the supplier enquiry instead of silently normalising the source.
The webpage’s nine rows label the winding Al and identify HPZ as CSCR. The manufacturer-linked catalogue’s physical page 11 instead labels the HPZ100A/125A/140A and additional HPZ versions Cu with RSCR. It also provides a broader range of HDZ and HXZ entries. These differences can reflect document versions or configurations, but no cause or current preferred revision was verified.
Request the ordered model/suffix and a current electrical/material schedule. Do not claim the entire platform uses aluminium winding or infer that a copper version has a proven lifetime advantage. Confirm the actual start components and qualification scope applicable to that configuration.

Read the sourceManufacturer-issued current winding/start version for the exact order.
The reviewed page states maximum shell temperature 95°C and maximum discharge temperature 120°C in addition to ambient, evaporation and pressure limits. These are upper-limit statements requiring exact-model confirmation, not a recommended operating condition or a simultaneous rated point. Obtain the manufacturer’s envelope and selected performance conditions.
The original HXZ170A image shows mounting feet, a terminal-side assembly, connections and nameplate markings. No full drawing or current issuer verification was reviewed. Visible approval symbols on that photographed unit do not certify the nine listed variants or establish their ordered connection dimensions.
The catalogue’s HXZ170A row gives 170 W cooling, 93 W input and COP 1.83 W/W, with Al winding, 9.2 cm³, RSCR, 4 µF, height 163 mm and mass 7.3 kg. Its static-cooling ASHRAE LBP conditions are −23.3°C evaporation, 54.4°C condensation and 32.2°C for suction, ambient and the source-labelled subcooling temperature. This gives a bounded document example for the pictured identifier, not verified current approval or appliance performance.
Ask for a current datasheet naming refrigerant, full suffix, electrical configuration, applicable envelope, all units and thermal test method. Require explanations for the asterisk and zero frequency cells and request the actual proposed unit’s outline/connection drawing. The performance columns can only support comparison after those missing conditions are resolved.
Record the start equipment and accessories included, appliance-validation scope, traceability and commercial terms. No current price, lead time or independently checked appliance performance was established. This source-specific Zeta brief helps resolve real catalogue issues rather than giving an unsupported efficiency score.
