Jinghai JH-IMC intelligent heat-exchange stations
Close the heat-transfer, hydraulic, water-treatment and control package; a rendered model label is not a conditioned duty sheet.

Specify a complete JH-IMC primary/secondary station
Jinghai’s JH-IMC intelligent heat-exchange station is presented as an integrated modular skid for heating-related services, with water treatment, preset controls, enclosure insulation and outdoor-operation provisions. Original product renderings identify JH-IMC-1800(kW)/N, but do not state the temperatures, flows or pressure losses supporting that label. Keep the rendering as identification evidence and obtain an issued model-specific thermal and hydraulic selection.
The official page advertises three series and eighteen products, multiple communication options and unattended operation. It also lists unusually broad temperature/pressure and efficiency claims without a complete applicability schedule. This brief retains one station-family URL and concentrates on selecting the exchanger, primary/secondary loops, controls and outdoor package together. It does not create eighteen thin pages or present the advertised limits as an approved operating envelope for every skid.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Published package form | Modular integrated skid; indoor/outdoor use advertised | Exact supplied enclosure, insulation and utilities require current scope. Source |
| Original rendering label | JH-IMC-1800(kW)/N | Original front/side/back renderings inspected; no matching conditioned duty schedule reviewed. Source |
| Catalogue architecture | Three series and eighteen products stated | Model list and individual ratings not supplied in reviewed text; one family brief avoids nominal pages. Source |
| Published control options | MODEBUS, RS232, RS485, TCPIP and GPRS wording | Source spelling retained; protocol/version/registers and exact included interfaces not verified. Source |
| Unbounded advertised conditions | Temperature ≤500°C and pressure ≤4.0 MPa | No per-component/fluid/circuit envelope supplied; not adopted as approved whole-skid rating. Source |
| Claims requiring defined tests | Nearly 99% heat-transfer efficiency and approach near 1°C; maintenance-free language | No clear metric, conditioned test or lifecycle file reviewed. Not a whole-system energy-efficiency guarantee. Source |
Selection and application review
Start with both water circuits and a defined exchanger selection
Issue primary and secondary supply/return temperatures, design loads and flows, seasonal operating points and permissible pressure losses. Require the selected exchanger type, plate/material schedule and fouling allowance. A JH-IMC-1800 label on an original rendering does not establish 1,800 kW at arbitrary water temperatures or flows.
The page’s near-99% efficiency and 1°C approach statements need a defined metric and test. Ask what fluid pair, flow, clean/fouled condition and measurement uncertainty apply. Do not equate heat-transfer effectiveness with boiler efficiency, electrical consumption or annual building savings.
Approve component limits instead of adopting the blanket envelope
The promotional text names ≤500°C and ≤4.0 MPa without assigning those limits to specific circuits or components. Obtain the design/working temperature and pressure for the exchanger, pumps, valves, piping, seals and instruments in the actual package. The weakest relevant component and applicable construction requirements govern the ordered assembly.
Require the pressure-equipment classification and current legal holder/scope where applicable. The historical 2019 ASME report in the factory review is not proof that every JH-IMC skid today is stamped or suitable for any advertised condition. Include material and fabrication/test documentation in the purchase file.
Define water treatment and actual maintenance tasks
The station page describes intelligent secondary-loop water treatment and online monitoring, while promoting no cleaning or maintenance. Obtain the actual treatment equipment, supported water chemistry, sensors, consumables, calibration and cleaning instructions. There is no evidence here that arbitrary water conditions remove scaling, corrosion or maintenance requirements.
Close the circulation and make-up/pressure-control responsibilities with a P&ID and equipment list. Define isolation, drainage, venting, strainers, sampling and replacement access. Use the supplier’s treatment claim as a request for specific operating limits and service tasks rather than a reason to omit them.
Specify communications and safe unattended operation
The site lists serial/network/cellular communication options but supplies no current register map, protocol version or selected controller. Define the actual supervisory interface, writable points, local fallback, remote alarms and responsibility for connectivity. A list of interface words does not establish a commissioned connection to the buyer’s BMS.
Agree temperature/pressure/flow alarm actions, pump changeover if ordered, communication loss, power recovery and local access. Unattended operation still requires a response plan and verified functional sequence. Specify the cause-and-effect schedule and test the ordered configuration rather than assuming preloaded software covers every plant.
Close outdoor installation and integrated acceptance
The source mentions insulation, heated touchscreen anti-freeze provisions, enclosure louvers and electrical-cabinet cooling. Obtain the selected ambient, ingress/corrosion exposure limits and the shutdown/freeze strategy for water-containing components. Heating the touchscreen alone does not protect every water path.
Approve lifting/supports, utility tie-ins, enclosure access, fan/pump sound requirements and controls. Acceptance should cover the selected thermal/hydraulic duty, pressure/leak tests and functional controls, with a clear boundary for site commissioning. No current quotation, stock, delivery or independently measured energy saving was reviewed.
Select the complete duty
Obtain both circuit temperatures, flows and the conditioned exchanger schedule.
Freeze package interfaces
Agree water treatment, pumps, compliance and communications.
