Bare exchanger boundary
Plate pack, frame, thermal selection and plate/gasket records.
Select the exchanger, pumps and control boundary together; copper-alloy and no-treatment claims need fluid-specific evidence.

Jinghai’s removable plate-exchanger package page shows original assemblies with exchanger frames, pumps, valves and a control cabinet. The package must be selected as a coupled thermal and hydraulic system; the photograph does not establish included pumps, redundancy, electrical demand or the ordered valve/control arrangement. Its promotional description also places copper-alloy plate claims alongside the package offer, without specifying the exact alloy or fluid conditions.
The page reports a copper-alloy heat-transfer coefficient up to 7,000 W/(m²·°C) and comparisons with titanium plates, but supplies no reproducible test schedule or order-specific corrosion evidence. It likewise promotes operation without water-treatment facilities. Obtain the actual water chemistry, plate/gasket materials, flow/pressure-loss selection and treatment responsibility before relying on those statements. This brief keeps the package and material options together rather than creating unsupported subtype pages from broken detail links.
This is an equipment family; its range does not identify one orderable configuration.
Swipe the table, or focus it and use arrow keys, to read the conditions and sources.
| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Observed package form | Original photographs show plate frames, connected piping/pumps, valves and a control cabinet | Pictured component count and arrangement are not a confirmed order BOM. Source |
| Copper-alloy offer | Copper-alloy plate series described on the same package page | Exact alloy, gasket and selected plate construction not specified. Source |
| Heat-transfer claim | Up to 7,000 W/(m²·°C) | No fluid pair, velocity, fouling condition or independently checked test; not a skid kW rating. Source |
| Compactness claim | 330 m² heat-transfer area within 1 m³ | Supplier construction statement without a model/layout basis; installed service envelope still required. Source |
| Titanium comparison | Higher transfer, similar corrosion resistance, smaller area and lower price advertised | No matched alloy/fluid/test/quotation basis; not adopted as universal material equivalence. Source |
| Missing package selection | No named model, conditioned heat duty, pump curves or electrical schedule in reviewed page | Water-treatment and unattended-operation claims require an actual circuit/control specification. Source |
Provide the fluids, four inlet/outlet temperatures, flow rates, allowable pressure losses and fouling allowance. Obtain the selected plate geometry, count/pass arrangement and materials. The advertised coefficient does not by itself determine exchanger area or guaranteed duty at the buyer’s actual operating point.
Specify the circulation and primary-side conditions independently. Require pump curves with the actual coil, valve and branch losses, and agree which pumps belong in the supplier package. Multiple components in a photograph do not establish duty/standby redundancy or a specific installed flow.
The page promotes copper-alloy plates with high transfer and resistance comparable to titanium. Request the exact alloy, compatible chemical composition and temperature/pressure limits, together with the selected gasket material. The broad comparison does not prove equivalence for all chloride, treatment or process conditions.
Obtain relevant corrosion/test evidence and material traceability for the ordered plate. Compare selections at the same duty, pressure loss, fouling allowance and expected maintenance basis. The source’s relative area and price figures cannot replace a current matched quotation or a lifecycle decision for a particular water circuit.
The page says the package needs no water-treatment facilities, but provides no allowable water quality or treatment process. Ask which circuit chemistry is acceptable, whether treatment is included elsewhere and what monitoring, cleaning or consumables are needed. Never use that statement to omit a project’s water-quality requirements.
Define local control, temperature regulation, pump sequencing, low-flow protection, alarms and power-recovery behaviour. The unattended-operation wording does not provide a cause-and-effect schedule or a remote response plan. Require actual controller/electrical documentation and test the functions included in the order.
The original photographs show accessible clamped plate frames. Obtain the dimensions needed for frame opening, plate removal, gasket work and pump/valve replacement. A compact installed footprint can still require a large maintenance corridor; reserve it on the plant-room drawing.
Agree the cleaning procedure, plate/gasket spare identification and retightening instructions. Define how the two circuits can be isolated, vented and drained before opening the frame. No exact model envelope or plate-removal clearance was supplied, so the picture cannot settle the room arrangement.
Provide thermal/hydraulic inputs, water chemistry, control requirements and site constraints. Obtain a P&ID, equipment list, pump selections, plate/gasket specification and electrical schedule. Clarify water-treatment scope and current conformity requirements separately from historical factory certification.
Agree pressure/leak tests, thermal duty at stated conditions, pump/control functional checks and site balancing. Compare the same included items and maintenance access across quotations. Stock, lead time, current price and independently measured package efficiency remain unverified.
