Fit the concealed unit without losing maintenance access
Langri’s ultra-thin concealed horizontal fan-coil page shows a bare terminal housing intended to sit behind the room finish rather than a complete visible wall appliance. The original pictures expose a finned coil face, end-mounted capped connections, mounting tabs and a separate lower connection area. They identify the family’s physical arrangement but do not establish casing height, handing, drainage method or a rated cooling output.
The website calls the construction ultra-thin without giving a dimensioned clearance schedule. A low ceiling void therefore remains a design question, not a confirmed fit. This individually reviewed brief focuses on the concealed terminal’s real coordination problems: coil-side piping access, the air path through the finished ceiling, insulation/drain continuity and the ability to service the selected fan/coil assembly. It consolidates the four pictures of the same construction instead of creating appearance variants as separate products.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Official construction name | Ultra-thin concealed horizontal fan coil | Original Chinese title; no dimensioned height or model-specific clearance given. Source |
| Visible original arrangement | Rectangular metal casing, finned opening, mounting tabs and end connections | Original images inspected; connection sizes, handed configuration and included accessories unknown. Source |
| Published thermal schedule | Not supplied on the reviewed detail page | No cooling/heating kW, air/water conditions, flow or pressure drop may be inferred from the photograph. Source |
| Family consolidation | Four views of the same concealed construction | Appearance and photographic angle do not create separate model pages. Source |
| Certificate boundary | Company’s displayed CRAA fan-coil FP-series scope | Selected concealed model correspondence and current issuer status require confirmation. Source |
Selection and application review
Measure the service envelope, not just the metal box
The original end view shows coil connections on the same side as an accessible lower connection area. It does not provide an issued handing or drain drawing. Ask for the selected connection end, overall dimensions, suspension locations, connection projection and required removal clearances. Include the connected valves, unions, insulation and drain arrangement in the ceiling coordination.
A unit that fits between slab and ceiling may still be impossible to isolate, clean or remove. Mark the access panel and a service route on the approved drawing. Ask which fan, motor, filter and coil parts are removable through that access. The ultra-thin name alone answers none of those questions.
Select against the finished air path
The exposed coil opening in the catalogue picture is not evidence that the terminal can overcome any chosen duct/grille resistance. Issue the return/supply layout and request available external static pressure, airflow and fan-speed data for the ordered configuration. Specify whether the quotation includes plenums, grille connections or just the bare unit.
Obtain sensible and total cooling separately at the actual entering air and water temperatures. A room load containing a moisture component cannot be matched by an undocumented nominal airflow or by the visible coil area. Fan electrical input and sound data must refer to the selected speed and air-path conditions.
Resolve water and drainage interfaces before closing the ceiling
Request the hydraulic selection: water inlet/outlet temperatures, flow, pressure drop, permitted pressure and valve arrangement. The capped end connections in the original image do not establish thread size or a two-/four-pipe offering. Confirm the precise ordered coil and connections rather than assigning a common arrangement to every picture.
Require the manufacturer's installation instructions for drain outlet, permitted slope, any pump provision and insulation continuity. Agree a site water/leak and drainage check before the ceiling is closed. The photo provides no proof of a built-in pump, trap requirement or guaranteed leak prevention.
Keep acceptance tied to the installed terminal
The company’s production photographs show fan-coil assembly and electrical work, while the displayed CRAA certificate has a broader FP-series scope. Neither establishes that this exact concealed model was selected or tested at the project's air/water condition. Ask for the named model, current drawing revision and relevant report/annex.
Approve the dimensional and performance schedules together. At handover, check access, water/control operation and the agreed air/noise conditions using the installed arrangement. Current price, lead time and independent test results remain unknown. The useful outcome is an enquiry that prevents ceiling rework and unsupported performance assumptions.
Coordinate the void
Include supports, valve/insulation space, drain routing and removable-part access.
Issue the air/water duty
Require selected airflow/static pressure and thermal/hydraulic data together.
Approve before enclosure
Match drawings and documents, then agree leak, drain, controls and service-access checks.
