Direct-lock families
Confirm UQD/MQD/CGQ exact pair, insertion/retention and fluid limits.
Choose direct-lock, floating blind-mate or clamp retention, then verify actual fluid, pressure, misalignment and mating-pair limits.

Envicool's quick-disconnect page describes several actual connection mechanisms for liquid-cooling circuits. UQD/UQDB and MQD/MQDB use direct insertion, dry-break and auto-locking features; CGB uses an externally secured floating blind-mate arrangement; CGQ uses stainless ball joints and automatic locking; CGS describes a clamp-fastened anti-release arrangement. The original product image shows multiple connector shapes, not a pressure/Cv table or proof of interchangeable parts.
The UQD/MQD sections claim SUS316/SUS316L housings, EPDM seals with material customization and more than 600 hours of testing with eight-plus supplier designs. CGB states ±1.5 mm allowable misalignment. OCP compatibility and these tests remain supplier statements because no standard-conformity or test report was inspected. The families are kept together to support choosing a connection mechanism and qualification boundary rather than creating many thin style pages. No coupling pressure, disconnect spill volume or universal fluid compatibility is assumed.
This is an equipment family; its range does not identify one orderable configuration.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| UQD/UQDB mechanism | Direct insertion, dry break and automatic locking | Supplier claims OCP UQD/UQDB V1/V2 compatibility; no conformity report inspected. Source |
| MQD/MQDB scope | 02/03/04 and MQDB04-1; V10 wording; in-chassis positioning | 40% smaller/similar Cv comparison has no inspected conditions. Source |
| Named housing/seal materials | SUS316/SUS316L and EPDM for UQD/MQD; customizable seals | Actual ordered grades/seals must be specified. Source |
| Blind-mate option | CGB external-fastener retention; ±1.5 mm misalignment | Direction, simultaneous offsets and loaded-cycle conditions not issued. Source |
| Other mechanisms | CGQ ball-joint auto-lock; CGS clamp retention | Different integration choices, not interchangeable performance ratings. Source |
| Interchangeability test claim | >600 hours with 8+ supplier designs | No inspected pair list, sequence or pass criteria. Source |
| Missing selection limits | Pressure/temperature, Cv curve, spill, insertion forces and cycle life | No universal leak-free or cross-brand mating guarantee. Source |
Identify whether the circuit needs accessible manual connection, in-chassis insertion or rack blind mating. Select the actual mechanism and obtain the mechanical drawing, insertion/extraction forces, locking and support requirements. Direct automatic locking, external fasteners and clamp retention are different installation decisions.
For CGB, ask what axes and conditions the ±1.5 mm misalignment statement covers and how multiple connectors align together. No angular offset or unrestricted tolerance is inferred. Agree the actual rack guidance and fastening responsibility.
Request exact male/female part numbers, standard revision, dimensions and an issued compatibility statement for the intended pair. OCP V1/V2 and V10 wording on the website is supplier evidence, not inspected third-party certification. Do not assume every part carrying a similar series name mates correctly.
If another manufacturer's half is used, obtain the tested pair list and acceptance evidence. The 600-hour/eight-plus-supplier claim does not identify every approved combination or establish universal interchangeability.
Issue fluid chemistry/concentration, operating temperatures, maximum pressure and required flow. Ask for the connector pressure-drop/Cv curve, connection/disconnection pressure limits and seal compatibility at those conditions. The MQD size/Cv comparison is not a numerical flow rating.
Confirm ordered metal, coating, seal and hose/tube connection construction. EPDM is a named default for certain families with customization offered; it is not proof of compatibility with every coolant, refrigerant or aviation fluid mentioned elsewhere on the page.
Request test methods and criteria for connected leakage, disconnect spill and air inclusion, using the actual fluid and pressure states. Dry-break/no-leakage marketing does not supply a measured residual volume or universal zero-spill guarantee. Define the acceptable measurement method and limits in the order.
Obtain vibration/shock and mating-cycle reports relevant to the installation, including supported hose loads and retention. Do not turn broad transit-resilience wording into an unspecified military or transport certification.
Agree protective caps, cleanliness, flushing and inspection before coupling. Identify correct mating pairs and any colour coding in the as-built record, with a documented disconnect/reconnect procedure and seal/spare responsibility.
Current price, lead time, certified standard conformance and independently tested lifecycle remain unknown. Official product contact addresses are retained as private research evidence, not exposed as public page text or used to send messages.
Confirm UQD/MQD/CGQ exact pair, insertion/retention and fluid limits.
Approve CGB guides, external fastening and the documented misalignment envelope.
Specify CGS clamp/support and verify actual vibration and release criteria.
