Xinwuxin air-cooled screw chillers: ambient, circuits and refrigerant
Xinwuxin's air-cooled screw chillers reject heat through a finned air-side coil with top-mounted fans and cool the process or building fluid in a shell-and-tube evaporator. Each unit has one or two compressors, each on its own refrigeration circuit, with capacity sharing and run-time balancing between them. The family illustration shows the finned casing and top fans.
The parameter tables rate each model at several evaporating temperatures. Model 100 gives 84 kW cooling for 28 kW compressor input at 5°C evaporation, and 47 kW for 25 kW at −10°C. The tables print no entering-air or condensing temperature and no fan input, so ask Xinwuxin for a selection at your design ambient with the whole-package input. The text promotes R134a while the tables also list R22, R404 and R507; name the refrigerant you will accept. Send the design air temperature, altitude, fluid temperatures and flow, and the duty you need if one circuit stops.

Selection and application
Rating at the air entering the coil
An air-cooled chiller's output falls as the air around it gets hotter, so the entering-air temperature at your site drives the selection. Xinwuxin describes direct-drive resin fans with lower noise than a conventional fan, without a fan schedule or sound test condition. Ask for cooling duty and full package input at your design air temperature, altitude and layout.
The model-100 pair of 84 kW and 28 kW at 5°C evaporation has no ambient attached and leaves out fans and controls, so it is a starting point for comparison. Request a performance map, the high-ambient limit and the airflow and access drawing, and check spacing to walls and other heat-rejection plant so hot discharge air does not recirculate.
Evaporating rows versus leaving-water rows
At −10°C evaporation the model-100 row reads 47 kW cooling and 25 kW compressor input. A separate water-flow block gives 14 m³/h at 7°C outlet with water resistance below 80 kPa. The tables do not print the entering-water temperature and other conditions needed to join these into one rating.
Send the entering and leaving fluid temperatures, fluid type, cooling duty and the pump head you have available. For sub-zero duty, give the glycol or brine type and concentration and ask for the minimum flow and freeze-protection settings. Footnotes from the brine-chiller tables apply to that family; ask for the air-cooled unit's own limits.
Two circuits and standby
Xinwuxin calls twin circuits mutual standby and describes individual loading with run-time balancing. Ask how much cooling remains with one circuit isolated at your ambient.
Request the compressor models, how the circuits are split across the exchangers and the capacity left on one circuit. Agree isolation and service access, restart behaviour, minimum load and how the controller reports reduced capacity to your BMS. The tables offer staged 25/50/75/100% loading or continuous loading; ask which the offered unit uses. For a comparable water-cooled option see the Xinwuxin screw chillers.
Refrigerant and electrical supply
Both parameter tables list R134a alongside R404 and R507, and R22, while the text features R134a only. Ask for the ordered refrigerant, charge, compressor and valve compatibility and the documents for your market. The site's chlorine-free description is a refrigerant property; ask for GWP figures if climate impact matters to you.
The tables give 380 V/3N/50 Hz supply, star-delta starting, maximum running and starting current, liquid-injection compressor cooling and an electronic expansion valve. Ask for a final running and starting current schedule that includes fans and controls.
Comparing air-cooled offers
Xinwuxin states outlet-temperature control to 0.5°C and a quieter fan than a conventional one, without test details. Define the control test and the sound-report conditions for your site. Compare offers on cooling output, total electrical input, hydraulics, refrigerant and one-circuit capacity at the same ambient, and ask for the GA drawing, airflow restrictions, protection tests and commissioning records. Price and delivery come with the quotation.
