Envicool's in-row CDU uses a plate heat exchanger to transfer heat from a circulating load-side liquid loop. The official page identifies a cabinet, water pump, plate exchanger, valves, expansion tank and piping, with stainless-steel pipeline construction and dual power supplies. It lists available single- or double-pump variable-frequency systems, an available 50 μm filtration device, adjustable flow of 10–100% and 7-inch/10-inch displays. The original cabinet rendering provides appearance without an ordered capacity or circuit rating.
The distinguishing procurement task is to define the two exchanger circuits and server-fluid requirements alongside the selected control and protection package. This page does not turn the supplier's 50 μm 'ultra filtration' wording into a microbiological purification grade, or treat available pump/filter choices as standard inclusions. Anti-condensation, water-quality monitoring and online maintenance are source-described features that require the actual settings, sensors and isolation arrangement. No heat-transfer capacity or pump head was published in the reviewed feature text.
This is an equipment family; its range does not identify one orderable configuration.

| Parameter | Published value | Conditions and evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Disclosed construction | Plate exchanger, pump, valves, expansion tank and piping | Selected capacity/material grade and arrangement not issued. Source |
| Pipeline and power features | Stainless-steel pipeline; dual power supplies | No grade, design pressure or independence schedule inspected. Source |
| Available pump systems | Single/double pumps with variable-frequency drivers | Options; not every quote includes dual pumps. Source |
| Published flow modulation | 10–100% | No absolute flow, head or selected stable operating range supplied. Source |
| Available filtration | 50 μm device | Supplier calls it ultra filtration; no microbiological/membrane qualification inferred. Source |
| Monitoring/protection list | Water quality, leak detection, overpressure, anti-condensation and group control | Ordered sensor list, thresholds and control sequence required. Source |
| Display options | 7-inch/10-inch colour display | Configuration choices, not proof of calibrated thermal metering. Source |
Provide facility-side fluid, temperatures, available flow/pressure and water quality separately from the server-side coolant specification and load. Ask for the selected exchanger approach, duty and pressure drops at those simultaneous points, plus material compatibility and design pressure. The page gives no heat-transfer capacity schedule.
Obtain the P&ID identifying pumps, valves, expansion volume, sensors and isolation on each circuit. Assign responsibility for upstream heat rejection and downstream manifolds/cold plates. A list of components does not establish which fluid circuit every listed part occupies.
Request the actual pump configuration and curves against the complete load-side resistance and permitted server pressure. The stated 10–100% modulation is a relative adjustment range; it does not provide litres per minute, pump head or stable duty at the lowest setting.
Clarify whether a single or double pump system is quoted, how variable-frequency control responds to load changes and what duty remains after a pump fault. Agree minimum-flow protection and server response. Dual power alone does not establish complete hydraulic redundancy.
Select fluid chemistry and wetted materials against the server OEM's requirements. Ask which water-quality properties are measured, their sensors/ranges and their alarm limits. Online water-quality monitoring is not proof that every contamination or chemistry change is detected.
If the 50 μm filter is ordered, request its element, removal basis, pressure-drop/maintenance limits and compatibility. Retain the published size without converting the marketing 'ultra filtration' phrase into a sterile-fluid or membrane-performance claim. Agree clean filling, flushing and sampling records.
Request the actual coolant temperature control and dew-point measurement strategy behind anti-condensation. Define pressure limits, protection devices and automatic replenishment source/quality. No universal condensation-free or pressure-safe operation is inferred from a feature list.
Obtain alarm cause-and-effect and interfaces for leakage, overpressure, low flow and high temperature. Clarify group control and power-loss/restart behaviour. The available display sizes do not define the installed sensors or make displayed values independently witnessed measurements.
Ask which components can be isolated and serviced while the server load continues, what temporary derating applies and how contamination is prevented during intervention. Obtain issued maintenance procedures and spare/consumable responsibilities.
Acceptance should verify ordered thermal/hydraulic duty, complete input, sensor/alarm functions and agreed fault states at the selected circuit conditions. Current price, lead time and independently measured efficiency are unknown.
Provide actual heat-sink fluid, temperatures, pressure and treatment responsibility.
Specify OEM coolant quality, flow and pressure limits plus manifold resistance.
Confirm ordered pumps/filter/sensors, protection thresholds and isolation procedures.
